Door-to-door car shipping is where the truck driver picks up your vehicle from a specific location (your home, office, etc.) and delivers it directly to another address, such as a new home. However, transport trucks are large and need ample room to maneuver, but drivers will do their best to get as close to your “door” as possible. Keep in mind that some towns have restrictions on large trucks, which limit their access to certain residential areas.

We recommend washing your car so it’s easy for both you and the driver to inspect before it gets loaded onto the trailer. Also, remove bike racks, personal items, and toll devices. Try to leave just a quarter tank of gas in the vehicle, so it doesn’t add unnecessary weight. Electric vehicles should have between 45-65% charged battery.
